Alwyn Collinson, 24, is meticulously cataloguing every event - from eyewitness statements to military manoeuvres - in real time from the Twitter handle [@RealTimeWWII](http://twitter.com/?ref=interhacktives.mymagic.page#!/RealTimeWWII) and says;

> “The volume of tweets is definitely driven by events. Materials that show what people at the time cared about, like newspaper reports, are all easily available online.”
