LinkedIn launches AI-generated profile summaries and job descriptions
LinkedIn now offers AI-powered features to help users with profile optimisation and job listings.
AI has been increasing in popularity, and more companies like Microsoft's LinkedIn continue to implement it into its platforms. Now the company seeks new ways to integrate OpenAI’s GPT into its apps.
AI Profile Summaries
On LinkedIn users will be provided with new GPT-powered tools that offer personalised writing suggestions to create profiles summaries.
The drawback of the feature is that the content might become very similar and resemble a ‘copy of a copy’ due to high amount of replica.
AI Job descriptions
LinkedIn’s AI job description generator will help employers craft better job descriptions based on the job title, company name, workplace type, job type, and location. The AI feature will also take into account people in your network whose skills and experience match your ideal candidate.
New AI LinkedIn Learning courses
Over 100 AI courses in several languages will become available for free on the LinkedIn Learning platform until 15 June, 2023.
